The inaugural Asian Festival of Children Content (AFCC) will be held at The Arts House, Singapore, from 6 to 9 May 2010 and is co-organised by The Arts House and the National Book Development Council of Singapore (NBDCS). The theme for this year is Asian Content for the World's Children.
For the past 10 years, NBDCS has been organising the Asian Children Writers & Illustrators Conference (ACWIC) to develop new materials for children. With the launch of AFCC, both organisations now aim to expand ACWIC's reach by including new initiatives. The Festival, with a series of innovative programmes, seeks to fill the direct need for quality Asian children content worldwide, particularly in Asia.
Use the 4Rs technique to remember facts and figures – read the information or fact, rewrite or summarise, commit it to memory, and then try to recall it by reciting it out loud or writing it out. For more revision tips, click here.
